A human subject that will never fade away »A Dream of Red Mansions« is a story focusing on a high spiritual love story that happened in a noble family, but what it wants to speak is much far beyond a love story theme. The author's attempt is to depict a macro-viewed picture which leads us to the very deep insight of life itself in comp…
2.)Arthurian Romances Chrétien de Troyes, William W. Kibler (Einführung), Carleton W. Carroll (Übersetzer/in) Penguin Classics; 2004 Paperback
Arthurian Romances Four Arthurian Romances: Erec et Enide –- Cliges –- Yvain –- Lancelot by Chretien de Troyes. Published by MobileReference (mobi).
I've read several books on Arthurian literature, and this is one of my favorites. In Knight of the Cart, Chretien really makes Lancelot shine as he sacrific…
Charlie Needs a Cloak Tomie dePaola always writes such good books, that I don't worry if it will be good, I know it will be. I will be using this book to help with a yarn/fiber art unit in class. I have enjoyed reading it and I know my students will like it too.
Buy it. This is a truly astonishing book which my simple review on Amazon cannot do justice to. Quantum physics, virtual reality, mathematics, evolution and more are melded together in Deutsch's distinct and original philosophy. Occasionally the book can be tough going, and some chapters need to be re-re…
6.)Great Day for Up Dr Seuss a Yuan-Liou Publishing Company; 1992 Hardcover
A fine first read with wonderful illustrations Dr. Suess's scansion and made-up words annoy me. My tri-lingual children have a hard enough time differentiating and isolating Standard English words, so I generally avoid Suess.
The volume is a rare welcome exception (there are a few Suessisms) and is an excellent book for first readers.

7.)Tartuffe and Other Plays Jean-Baptiste Molière, Donald M. Frame (Einführung) Signet Classics; 1960 Paperback
Tartuffe and other plays I purchased this book for my daughter who is a sophomore in college. It was the right version … apparently there is another version of this play that is not written correctly. It was delivered in a timely manner and was just what I expected.
8.)The Cat's Quizzer Dr Seuss a Yuan-Liou Publishing Company; 1992 Hardcover
Classic Cat One of my earliest memories is going to the library and checking this book out, My older sister and I would sit and look at this book for hours and hours and although the quizzes were easy enough to solve they were so amusing that you didn't mind repeating them time after time. I imagine that we…
Excellent story, overly complicated technology The movie with the same does not follow Clancy's original plot however the movie is also worth seeing.
The Sum of All Fears is one of Clancy's best stories. A plot based on the loss of a tactical nuclear bomb, an event that could occur in the fog of war. A somewhat similar event occurred re…
11.)Three Kingdoms Luo Guanzhong, Lo Kuan-Chung People's Literature Press; 2002 Library Binding
Disappointing I am a big fan of The Three Kingdoms saga. I wanted a version that in my mind was worthy of the wonder and significance of the work. This version, for the cost, is very disappointing. I am through the first nine chapters or so, and I must say that this version does not live up to expectations.…
